It is just so frustrating to see this happen to Laine again and again. He have had only 2 full seasons in his 8 seasons of NHL. This is extreme bad luck but I can also see some blame on Laine here. You can't go over blue line with your head down AND legs spread out like he did. This wasn't dirty play or anything like that, this is more Laine skating onto that knee than Toronto player extending his knee

He was not moving, he was not charging.

Im a Leaf fan but Im cheering for Laine and the Habs. No doubt its knee on knee but I don't think it was deliberate. Laine did try to cut through a very very tight spot and I think it was more coinciencental

That Pare was a nothing and will never be. He ended Laine's season and maybe career to by intentionally throwing a dirty knee hit. He's from Montreal I think….we'll he ruined the Habs big pick up. Wait till he realizes he and his family will be moving from Montreal real soon.
