Wow 64 million for a guy that platooned for the past 3 seasons. It’s time to turn the page. If Swayman thinks he’s anywhere near that contract he better be like Tim Thomas and Grant Fuhr rolled into one.

Gonna take management's side on this one. Jeremy is a great goalie, but another few years of continuing to prove that should be in order. How about a shorter, like 2 year contract first?

Yeah, we won't negotiate with our star goalie. We pushed him into arbitration one year, and then the next we spent away, leaving only a set amount for your deal, so I guess there's no negotiation. Now we're trying to turn the fanbase against you because you don't want to be paid 20 – 25 % less than your value. Don and Cam are fu!@ing a$$holes. They're the ones responsible. He's the only mid-20s top 5 goalie in the league(Demko, maybe, but he's injured a lot), and he wants to be paid like the rare player he is. This deal only takes him to 33 or 34. He's in his prime the whole deal. Sweeney could've had him signed for 6mill, and he said no like the genius he is.
