hard to say with his interaction with gally in that video, and with MSL conference… lets hope only a month or two…

It’s a good thing to me if he hangs around the team a lot. The Habs right now seems like a really close knit bunch and there’s nothing like a group of peers welcoming you with open arms for mental health.

maybe im trying to be overly optimistic in this situation because I really feel for the guy but isn’t the fact he’s around today make it a good thing? Not like it’s not serious or anything but maybe it isn’t catastrophically bad?

I really love what MSL said about building a home, not just a house. The fact that despite likely being anxious, and possibly in pain – he chooses to be with the guys. Likely the best place for his mental health right now too. Staying engaged with the group, until they have answers (that I’m sure he wants even more than we do, if you can believe it).
While I don’t take any sign from his presence there (good or bad) about the physical news – I feel like it’s a good sign as far as his ties to his team and knowing this is a safe space for him to find support.

I like how every person commenting is suddenly a knee expert who can diagnose injuries from a video replay

Dach dis the same thing.

Uttering wisdom and insights, especially on young (master) Cole – he’s even got the cowl…
I even saw a reporter/hobbit today, I think it was anyways him anyways.
Are those the gorilla-scientist crutch/cane things? At least that’s kinda fun. I remember a very hurt Dach at practice sitting in a dorky hat last year, even when the chips are down it seems like guys wanna be around the team. Glad to see the culture spread and i hope he keeps his spirits up.

Habs are doing a good job of handling the communications side of this and maintaining positive connection to the fan base, whether it’s based on being open about the feeling of this loss, eschewing medical speculation, or sharing a positive photo like this. Whatever is going on medically, this approach is making it more palatable.

I want to add to the comments on how amazing this is. After years of hearing how the team had a lousy locker room culture, seeing how much they’re coming together makes me optimistic and proud!
