I figure that is one of the few times Foley has lost his shit during a broadcast.
WHACK!!!
Classic
Oh man, every man who saw this just cringed and closed his legs together.
😂😂😂
And then Tallon went on to build a near dynasty as GM, got replaced and Bowman is in the process of destroying it.
To young remember Harry Caray and Jimmy Piersal but in my opinion Pat and Dale were the best combo in Chicago sports broadcasting. Dale was terrific.
Those two were such a pair. It's amazing that Pat Foley has been the Blackhawks' play by play man since 1981, and he's only 65 now. Since he was 26 years old! I can't even remember a time when he wasn't there (besides the 2 years where Bill Wirtz fired him). '06-'08. Thank God Rocky stepped it up.
Wow talk about an old game, you going back to 1996.
When Hill gets up and skates toward the bench, the audio engineer cues up "Feelin' Alright," even though he probably was NOT feeling all right.
Pat took a little time to regain his composure. LOL
Expert use of the cough button
Puck Soup sent me here
I am not sorry but that has got to be the greatest pun I have ever heard.
Imagine the lengths OP went to for this clip to survive and make it onto YouTube
This is just one trash can kick short of an Uncle Lar' & Little Tommy bit.
Gonna miss you Pat. Happy retirement. One of my favorite moments.
0:52 you’re welcome
Tiktok brought me here lol this is absolutely amazing.
“not his knee, maybe his wee knee”
then the broadcast went silent for 20 seconds
Probably Daze’s #1 highlight. And Foley ripped Karpotsev for being an underachiever.
Wee Knee
COUGH BUTTON SMASHED
That was Dale Tallon?!
