[Morreale] Tom Fitzgerald m’a dit que Luke Hughes (épaule gauche) n’avait pas encore commencé à patiner et qu’il lui resterait dans 5 à 7 semaines.

Casey played all last year in College on his off wing. Does it suck to lose Luke? Yep. But he’ll recover well and this lets Casey get some reps in either cementing him as a piece of our next gen core or as a good trade piece.

I knew he wasn’t close but damn I hope he gets on the ice soon. Fitz’ defensive depth additions got him looking like fuckin nostradamus rn

Any news on how long pesce is out for?

  4. Damn, so in 3 weeks time, he’s moved from 6-8weeks to 5-7weeks. At least Casey looked pretty good so far

We have D Depth for a reason, without Dougie getting hurt Nemec wasn’t gonna sniff the amount of experience he got. Now it’s Casey’s chance

This is really going to slow his progression. Last thing we needed was him being afraid of contact even more than he already is 🤦🏻‍♂️

So he’s made 1 week of progress in 3 weeks seemingly. That stinks but hopefully he comes back completely ready to contribute.

Quick, someone invent bionic shoulders, before these two get too old to use them!

Luke haters in shambles. Who’s the next whipping boy?

I fucking hate going “next man up” already but seeing how others have fared- including potentially the Rangers- I suppose it could be worse

Joes aside, while I do wish the teams in general could drop the bull and just be more transparent with their injuries, this happens sometimes. You think you’re making progress then you hit a snag. It’s not always a lineal path of progression and the card is always subject to change. Give him the time he needs.

Frankly if losing one player is enough to sink us by Thanksgiving then we’ve got bigger problems. Casey can handle the load in the meantime.

I still wanna know how he hurt it.
