Certainly a rough game to watch I thought we looked very slow and unmotivated until they would eventually score on us. Rodrigue also didn’t look great. Hope we can bounce back on Friday🙏
I am hoping we start the reg season better than we've done in the pre season. I'm sure it will all come togrther but a little worried our team was better last year
hopefully this quality of play does not continue into the regular season.. i am very concerned right now ( even though it is just preseason )
why did Knoblauch insist with Rodrique for so many games? Why bring the big guns to then rest Skinner? Oilers played well for long stretches, was in the arena, they had double shots compared to Seattle, but every 3rd shot on our goal was in. I do not understand what is Knoblauch waiting for to test Emberson with Nurse, Skinner in goal and the 'regular' team? Understand it is pre-season, but no one in the NHL wants to see McDavid and Draisaitl lose 6-2. I sure hope they can show better in Vancouver, will be there as well, then also first 4 games, which hope they can output much better than today.
