  1. Ken!!! Awesome show. Always loved taking photos of you and Troy! I have given u many!!

  2. I remember a couple years later the Wings signed Crowder. To bad he had an injury it would have been fun to watch him and Probie on the same team.

  3. Thanks Buttman for removing this very interesting and thrilling aspect off of the NHL: The heavyweights. It used to be "game within a game". I miss guys like Probert, Twist, Crowder, Grimson, Domi, Simon, Laraque… bring back the old time hockey!

  4. Hockey Fights Sells Tickets. As Soon As The NHL Took That Away… They Lost Money!!
It was part of the game Needed
    I miss 80s-90s Hockey.
Probert Domi Daneyko Stevens Crowder Lindros Brasheer Kocur Boogard. Etc.

  5. Im sure his first game agsinst was agsinst the Leafs,he took on Clarke, got his ass kicked, there Was a lot of top fighters Domi on and on.

  6. Daneyko was a professional hockey player so I'm sure he's got lots of great stories to tell. Unfortunately, he's not the kind of guy who can tell a good story

  7. Thats how scary good Probert was. If you beat him, people actually would show up for Devils games.

  8. Watched the legend live in junior here in North Bay. Great story exists of him pounding his best buddy in the OHL. Cheers.

  9. Daneyko took a back seat to no one. I’m a Rangers fan but always admired and respected him. Never cheap. Just pure honest, tough, old school.

  10. Remember when hockey was awesome? This was the type of thing that added to the game to take it from a game of skill to legendary status. Hockey had it all. Now it just sucks. Why does everything great have to be ruined?

  11. no mention from dano about probert skate stepping on a stick on the first fight giving crowder an obvious advantage. surprised. lol

  12. Only way crowder wins is by jumping PROBIE at the end of a shift. Always hated daneyko.

  13. I'm a Flyers fan and I respect Kenny he was a warrior tells a great story and I remember Crowder coming into the Spectrum and he just destroyed Jeff chickrin I knew he was something special but he flamed out somehow it's good to see him doing well he still has those cute little boy looks lol like he stole cookies from the cookie jar

  14. super nice guy that troy crowder, signed hockey cards for my nephews at gilmour's restaurant on notre dame avenue sudbury sumer of 1995, always had a minute to stop and chat when you cross paths with him.

  15. Crowder the guy that fought Miller and Byers and looked like just another goon and didn't impress, but Daneyko liked suckering and picking spots and now telling stories. Crowder fought Probert well but beating Craig Coxe who hadn't fought in years, give me a break. Kenny go back to just cheerleading

  16. My god I miss these days. I miss the old Hockey nights, with all the tension of rough play and reputable tough guys. I miss the old feuds between teams. Domi vs Proby and Crowder vs Proby, some of the best feuds and times. Sigh…where did it all go.
