@Penguins de Pittsburgh

[Surmacz] Lorsqu’on lui a demandé s’il y avait une chance qu’Harrison Brunicke participe à un essai de neuf matchs, l’entraîneur-chef Mike Sullivan a répondu : « Oui, bien sûr. »

Burnicke n’est pas éligible pour la AHL.

    Graves – Brunicke third pair. If he can manage to make Graves look good, he can stay.

    If you make this kid play his off side, and pair him with the one guy on our team who tanked every single other partners play – you’re fucking idiot Mike Sullivan.

    Honestly, this would be a huge mishandling. This is what is meant by fucking up a player’s development, quite precisely.

    If you’re gonna give him 9 games, let him play the left, and pair him with St. Ivany. If that works, then trade that 2nd you got with Hayes, to get Graves the fuck out of dodge, or retain 50% of his salary, or both. Look if we have this kid on an ELC who’s better than Graves, we can eat a percentage of Graves deal and play the better player without a worse cap situation.

    Sunk cost fallacy is alive and real on NHL teams, and it shouldn’t be.

    I’m no scout but at work i caught some preseason highlights, a defenceman caught my eye with his skating, poise, etc. When i googled his number it was Brunicke. Pretty encouraging.

    Sullivan will give him four minutes a game and then he’ll be sent back.
