It didn’t even make it over the net. It hit the netting where the post is and came back. Goalie didn’t have to worry about it. But got to love an announcer that calls it wrong. Get Shorthouse there and he’ll get it right. Not cbc announcers.

OK, I have to chime in. Everybody wants to call Connor McDavid the best player in the world. But is he? Last year did he have the most goals? No he did not, thatwas Auston Matthews. Did he have the most points? No, that was Kucherov. Did he win the MVP? No he didn’t, so how is he the best player in the world when he’s not even the best in those categories? There’s no doubt about it, Connor McDavid is a hell of a player, but you can’t call him the best player in the world when his stats don’t show that.
