  1. Im just happy we have the goalie coaches we have, money seems to always screw things up. Im psyched to see our first game…..Which sweater from 2024 will i get first…..Prob mcavoy.

  2. Pretty well had enough of the drama on Swayman, he not the only player who when through arbitration and had a bad experience, he needs to let it go or he will jeopardize is career forward …

  3. Thnx 4 the update. Everyone who says they dont need swayman are nuts! Where are u going to get another goalie better than him? You always build a team from the net out. Both sides need to calm down and end this complete nonsense asap. Go bruins.

  4. I love Swayman, but at this point, I would love someone to drop a huge offer sheet in his lap and take him off of our hands. I'm really ready to move on. Prima Donna's are not bruins hockey. Go B's Go!

  5. I understand arbitration isn't easy but you have to understand it's business and not personal. Ray Bourque went to arbitration and didn't let it get to him. And Sinden was much worse than Cam or Don have shown.
I just have faith something will get done and hope Swayman doesn't hold any ill feelings for management or the organization.

  6. That's really scary about the Providence tandem both being open to waiver claims. How did Sweeney let that happen?

  7. This soap opera situation is absolute bullshit. They had two very goalies, and threw one out before They signed the other one. Makes no sense to me. What's it going to be down to, bringing back Gerry Cheevers? Nonsensical.

  8. What people don’t understand is Shersterkin will sign a record contract soon and Swayman will be stuck in a low value contract for eight years, his agent is no fool. He’s not taking anything less than 8.5 and he shouldn’t.

  9. One thing i don’t understand is the “fans” saying swayman needs to “prove himself”… what else do they want him to do?
    44 games 37 game 41 games
    Sv% over 919
    GAA below 3
    13 shutouts last year
And carried the team on his back last year in the playoffs.
What more else do they want? The avg nhl starting goalie plays 50-55 games, do they think that 5-10 more games will kill him?
Do they want him to win a cup by himself?
Does he need to win a veznia?

  10. Boston should trade Swayman to Montreal for Goalie Mautombeau or Primeau, a 1st round pick and a prospect like Reinbacker.
Both sides would be winners with a trade like that.

  11. I bet Swayman is shaking in his skates now they claimed a guy of waivers, typical Bruins being the Bruins. When he’s dealt, I hope they get players ready as opposed to picks, track record a little iffy there, eh

  12. Hate to keep going back to this but Sweeney needed to understand the Sway contract compromise before dealing Ullmark. Once he traded Ullmark without Sway under wraps, the bargaining position shifted dramatically.

I read comments everywhere that Essensa will "fix" Korpisalo, while I hope they are right, I have serious doubts

  13. I feel for you bruins fans, even if they sign him soon he might want out in a couple years cause he's soured on management (unless they shit-can Sweeney), same thing happened with Shea Weber in Nashville

  14. Everyone thought William Nylander was a whiner when he argued about his contract but a few years later that contract was a steal and he was underpaid

  15. Jaroslav Halak….2018-2019….. 40 GP ..2.34 GAA and a .922 save percentage……2019-2020..31GP…2.39 GAA and a .919 SP..a combined 40 wins. So Swayman has played 10 games more, a 2.27 GAA average and a 2.53 GAA along with a .920 SP and a .916 SP along with 49 wins.
Either Halak was the most underpaid goalie in the history of the game or Swayman and his agent are nuts. To pay Swayman, right now, in excess of 7 million is crazy. Get serious. those who want to pay him the huge cash have blinders on because he played well across 2 series in 1 playoff run. There are hundreds of goalies who accomplished this and were never even starters or able to duplicate that success. 7 million is a windfall for those numbers across a career that spans 80 games. He's passing up, if we believe Neely, 64 million ( presumably 8×8)? Jeremy done lost his mind. quite frankly 8×8 is scary to pay a goalie with his short career who was drafted 111th overall. IMO

  16. I hope they do trade swayman…dude is a weirdo…post your list up in Utah big boy. Get your cash homie!

  17. The Bruins are bigger and meaner in front of him. Any goalie would love to be in that net. The Bruins traded Ulmark to show Swayman that they are acting in good faith to make him their starter, and then they offered him a solid term deal. Then Swayman, who TOOK THE BRUINS TO ARBITRATION and not the other way around, turns his nose up at them and their $64,000,000 offer?

  18. It's only a very good thing if you want this dude as a Bruin. It's kind of at this point, do we want him as a man? Meh.

  19. Bruins have all the leverage here, Swayman is still an RFA this year and next, can't see him not playing the in the NHL for 2 years, that would only set his development back and teams would not offer as much. Sweeney will wait him out, either he signs a deal the B's are happy with or he can sit for 2 years.

  20. Let him go no way I give him eight
By eight he has not played a full season I think now it’s time for Bruins cut the cord he’s be a cancer

  21. Bob Essensa is a jem,he gets more out of average goalies. If Swayman doesn't start the season we have no choice the cards are dealt. With Defense Corp and Goalie Bob on the job,I am not too worried. He won't give us a Rask or Swayman but he will make what we have better in goal.

  22. Swayman and his agent have a overinflated view of his worth. Hasn't played more than 45 games in a season. Hasn't proven he is a number 1. If he doesn't want to sign for 62.4 million they should just let him sit home until Christmas and then trade him

  23. When this is all settled whatever way it goes i think the jacobs family needs to move on from neely and don when their contracts are up

  24. Start Shopping him or better yet let him talk to other teams. Sway would get a reality check. Lewis Gross has over played his hand.

  25. Habs should offersheet Swayman 8.5 million

    The have the picks, cost would be 1 – 1st + 2nd + 3rd round picks in 2025

That should quiet down the drama…

    😂😂😂

  26. F*ck him. Even if he re-signs, I look forward to flaming him for every softy that squeaks through and bashing him every time they lose early in the playoffs. This is the bed he made. Yes, my team essentially needs him to succeed after we unfortunately traded the wrong guy, But I will merely tolerate this player for the rest of his time in Boston and until he delivers a championship, I will continue to call him an overpaid bum who tried to destroy my favorite sports team over GREED. Rask NEVER did this. Rask won a Stanley Cup as a back up, brought the Bruins to the cup final several times and posted some of the best playoff save percentage stats in his tenure. The hate for Rask was undeserved and unwarranted so I do not want to see ANYBODY comparing him to this spoiled child. If he resigns in Boston, he absolutely deserves to be under the microscope for the foreseeable future and that’s the bed he made when he decided he wanted to put getting the highest pay of all time ahead of the team
