So many questions around 2/3 of that top6, is Lekhonen okay ? Is Nichushkin reliable ? Landeskog is hurt again ? Is Drouin doing good or is he mooching off Mac and Rantanen ?
Good thing they added Mittelstadt, but unless everyone comes back at 90%, they are probably missing a piece or two to be real contenders.

Now this is just from what I know about the Avalanche but their depth currently and throughout last year was horrendous. They stayed a top team but it just looked horrendous. Another question is if that Wood Colton Connor line gonna do what they can do best. Because like you listed all 3 players have problems that keep them from being a legitimate top 6 kinda line. Like don't get me wrong it would be a high level second line but it could do good if they fixed their issues. So because I think and know that they can play decently together is why I put Drouin on the fourth line. If Drouin doesn't need Rantanen and Mackinnon to put up 56 points then Drouin could really help that fourth line be decent. It could help the fourth line produce better point totals and overall help the team to be on the ice. One question could be how would they make the cap work which I personally don't know. But knowing that this could be a playoff team. Is still scary. And knowing that it could be a playoff team. SHOULD be scary. Because that would just be the forward core. That's not including the players on defence or the defensive system they play.
