Thank goodness. Although I’m still bitter about them giving us a 9pm puck drop to start the season….
On another note – I think more providers are going to start signing on for broadcasting rights to the new network but my current theory is that it won’t be in time for the Blackhawks start of season. I can see a situation where Reinsdorf and Co wait until the start of the Bulls season(10/23) to work out the best deal possible since I imagine the Bulls are the biggest draw overall out of the 3 teams involved. Make the service providers sweat a bit as the first 2 weeks of the hockey season go by and then by the time the Bulls tip-off the pressure will really be on to get a deal done.
Way to kill off the vibe and excitement of hockey returning. Way to screw over the loyal fans . I am definitely not buying a shitty antenna to get garbage 1080 broadcast on a 4K tv
