I can’t believe Robin Yount even agreed to come onto the field for this because to even remotely suggest that this team is ANYTHING like the 82 team is preposterous.

Stop bleeding after giving up 2 homers is good, because it still gives hope for team chance to win. But it would be much better for team to come back trailing only one run. I pay respect to those veterans playing short stop, first base, left field and right field. Newer face Mets exist a lot potential. I believe improving “ reading balls “ is the key.
To the Brewers fans who kept booing every time a pitcher threw to first: are you aware that there's a rule in place to prevent pitchers from doing this excessively and so there's no point in booing? Have you guys been watching baseball over the last few years at all, or was this your first game in awhile? Were you really confused when your pitcher didn't come up to bat?
