Raty may just fuck around and make this team

  2. glad to see räty on that third line he earned it

  3. Raty has definitely made this team. Last preseason game and he plays 3rd line? All but confirmed imo

man our depth is good this year, even with joshua and suter out, our forward group still looks decent. can’t wait until they both return

This is most likely our starting lineup for the home opener right?

In case anyone was curious. Edmonton is basically icing their entire roster as well! With all the preseason injuries I didn’t think McDrai would travel. Think it’s gonna be a fun one tonight (with everyone staying healthy of course).

Obviously we have to see how he plays in-season, but you have to think Raty’s an improvement on Aman at the very least. Aman’s main thing is PK but Raty’s been doing PK all preseason on top of taking some of the hardest face offs, which Aman is notoriously bad at.

Any thoughts on Forbort and Desh’s performance so far this preseason? So far, the only comments I’ve heard are that they’re big, but boy are they slow

Looking at these forward lines is just confirmation the Canucks have one of, if not, the best forward depth in the league. As per the Athletic:

    >Vancouver’s forward depth doesn’t stop there, either, and it’s here where the Canucks have a significant advantage over other teams.

If Hoglander moves up to the 2nd line, they have the best 2nd line in the league with Petey and DeBrusk, I don’t want to sound too optimistic, but with lines like this, a few guys are going to have career years, again.

I love our forward lines except for Bains, no offense to him. I feel like he needs to be a top 9 guy to be effective but Im here for him to prove me wrong

Miller mentioned that on special teams, they putting DeBrusk in Horvat’s old slot position.

I remember when Blueger first came in, they tried him out in that spot for a bit and he did ok.

Miller sounded as excited as I am that they have someone to play that slot position again, really takes a lot of pressure and attention off of Petey for his sniping spot on the right. Add Hoggy in the mix for 5 on 5 for a hound on the puck retrieval and creating a ruckus in front of the crease, and dayum that’s a formidable line.

Miller even compared DeBrusk in that slot position to « We haven’t had someone there since Horvat »

That third line is going to be like a hornet’s nest unleashing out there lol.

    This is so exciting!

Log jam of middle/bottom 6 forwards :/. Tough choices to make.

Im interested to see how the D-Pairings get deployed over the year.

Is it a scenario where it’s Hughes/Hronek for 2/3 of the game, and they carry Forbs/Vinny the other 1/3?

    Do we see Soucy & Myers play closer to 18-20+ minutes/night with Forb/Vinny getting like 12-14 mins together @ 5v5 + PK1?

DeBrusk – Pettersson – Sprong fuck that’s spicy – looking forward to seeing how this one goes!
