  1. Bruins have been completely without class dragging negotiations public and smearing Swayman.

Swayman has great numbers, is young and is looking at the rising cap and is absolutely right he should be paid more than Saros and Sorokin.

  2. The Bruins are going to put bums in the seats regardless of Swayman's contract.
Swayman risks being blackballed if the league general managers see him as pricing himself out of the market.

  3. The Bruins need to drag this out to the deadline and get the upper hand back. Swayman won’t want to sit out the season and will get more reasonable with his demands. Don’t ever let one player control an organisation, especially one so young who hasnt even proven himself yet.

  4. Money! Money ! Money ! gets all tongues wagging…December 1st is right around the corner…Someone find a pen and paper quick!

  5. The extortionist never loses anything. And the extortee always loses something, even if it's just something immeasureable.

  6. Look Swayman is an excellent goalie and I want him to be a Bruin but to pretend like the Bruins are just not gonna be good anymore is fucking silly and this guy should not be considered a hockey journalist if he genuinely thinks that.

Sure they wont be winning the cup but to pretend like they are gonna regress drastically… people have been saying that for years and they havent.

  7. Swayman has everything to lose guy is unproven coming off an entry level deal and has never been a starter ! And she wants 10 million 🤦‍♂️

  8. He will never don a bs jersey again. I only hope his agent explained to him that with limited nhl experience his ask is unreasonable. Whoever his agent is will likely never do business with the bs again. This im a star already bs is ridiculous. He's got potential but that not worth an 8 year ask. I only hope his agent gives him a crying towel when he's on the blue jackets.

  9. Disagree with Mr Biron. Both sides lose here, but Swayman is not doing himself or his teammates any favors. He’s coming across as a spoiled brat, and acts as though he has the moral high ground while effectively saying give me the rest of the salary cap and thus cripple the team’s ability to make further moves OR he’s saying trade someone in the locker room right now to afford me. Selfish and short-sighted. If these were the Harry Sinden days wherein management considered the players overpaid and thus detracting from owners’ profits I could see his position. Those days are long over. This team spends to the cap annually. I hope they can sign him, but his obstinacy is a bad look and it’s hurting everyone involved. Let him sit or trade him to Utah or Anaheim if he won’t sign for $8mm/annually. Have to wonder if this thin-skinned prima donna is worth the trouble.
