I assume they made their final offer to Demidov to make him stay in Russia and sign him and Demidov said no. I can’t see any other reason to remove him from the line up. No way it’s about Ozone penalties.

I’m fine keeping him in Russia, but this is unbelievable. I don’t know how a buyout would work given international financial sanctions, but something needs to be done at this point.

This probably isnt helping his skill development but everything is a lesson. With the right mentality this experience will make him a better teammate in Montreal
