@Canadiens de Montréal

The Marchand hit will never be forgotten!

  2. Lakers0001

He was a real G. Gave it all on the ice. I was heartbroken when he was traded.

  3. nriopel

Kinda awesome the bromance he ahd with Markov and Price. Never seen Markov smile so much.

  4. fliegende_Scheisse

He loved MTL, and MTL loved him.

  5. ValleyBreeze

I mean – we can’t negate the impact Webby had on the team either. PK was definitely electric, and I think management did him dirty for sure. But he DID get us a Man Mountain.

  6. Interwebzking

PK will always be one of my favourite players of all time. He was so dynamic. His fire on the ice was a blast to watch every night. Sucks he cooled off with his injuries and set backs cause he was unreal in the Bleu Blanc et Rouge.

  7. Character-Handle-697

Trading him was a good idea

  8. nhabster

No need to convince you even if you’re wrong. Weber was the epitome of leadership. Prior to the trade the locker room was broken.

  9. astonedgecko

Why does Lane need to be involved here lol

  10. chicken_nugget000

Honest question cause I didn’t really watch him in Nashville/NJ but what caused him to get “bad” so quickly?

  11. highgames420

What a time to be a habs fan! But this clip is missing some of that Pierre Houde et le buuuuuut!

  12. Low-Dimension-320

Comparison is the thief of joy… p.k,weber and Hutson are all special players that impact the game jn unique ways. We are lucky to have had all 3 on our team.

  13. I will always have a soft spot for subban. Broke my heart that he got traded away. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sleep)

  14. Loses_Bet

PK danced so guys like Makar and Hughes could run.

Also he had a better shot than any of them

  15. Eazy3006

😢 I loved that guy. He’s my favourite Hab since I started watching in 92.

I was devastated when I heard about the trade. So devastated that I thought it was a joke on hockey buzz cause it happened minutes after the Hall for Larson trade.

    I was in denial 😂

Weber was a great player but Subban was Subban.

  16. hunglikejesus_

Suzuki isn’t who he is today without Weber.

For that reason alone it was worth trading him

  17. Moresopheus

Probably did him a favour in those years so he could try to win a cup somewhere competitive.

  18. I was heartbroken when we traded him. Though I came to understand how good of a trade that was and to love Weber. No regrets. But I do miss Subban.

I hope he commentates for Habs sports for decades. I would love to hear from him rather than old washed up “pros” on RDS, the wanabe pros on TVA, the Leafs fans on TSN and SportsNet. There’s a couple remaining good habs analyst and commentators. Too many pretenders.

Subban would be fun to listen to and more in tune with the current NHL.

  19. TrickyScene238

Love him and love what he did for the Habs and Montreal as a city. He was proud to be there and it was so evident!

  20. VarietyMart

Bad coach and GM at the time, thankfully those days are gone.

  21. canadianbroncos

The breakaway goal out the box is one of my favorite moment ever.

The way the crowd gets up and starts screaming before he even gets the pass to the explosion when he scores.

    So damn hype

  22. Vingt-Quatre

I was a big fan of Subban until the team got bad and he decided to try to do it all by himself. Then, it was turnover over turnover and everything went to shit. But when his flashy moves worked, it was really something to watch.

  23. Metalock

That Minnesota goal is probably my all-time favourite regular season NHL goal. He had a hat trick that game as well.

  24. fingledeebee

Second favourite player ever behind Saku. Truly a legend

  25. Mbeaud001

Am I the only one missing Jim Hughson doing play by play?

  26. Welhor91

Flashy but played a pretty risky game while being an individual player. I think he fought teammates in practice too so I really didn’t mind getting a true leader in Weber.

  27. Lavs1985

PK was electric at best, but he made a lot of bone-headed decisions and never grew out of them.

Give me comfortable stability over flash any day!

  28. surebudd

Markov Subban was such an amazing pairing when they were healthy. Probably one of the most underrated duos.

  29. alldasmoke__

I’ll die on the hill that we should’ve never made the PK-Weber trade. Yea whatever about your culture arguments, PK just wasn’t in the right team/era at the right time.

  30. You admit in comparing a kid to a guy “at his peak”….lets compare when both are “at their peak”

  31. Specialist-Ad-9371

I would have preferred a way to have both Weber and PK!

  32. destroyermaker

A lot of people detest personality

  33. cafespeed21

A breath of fresh air on multiple teams devoid of personality.

Forever a top 5 in my list of all time fave Habs.

  34. GLFR_59

PK isn’t anywhere near the player Hudson will be. PK was out of the league by what, 33? Prime PK was a massive defensive liability as well. There’s 3:1 mistakes for highlights.

What star defence is out of the league before 35?

  35. jimvinny

Lane will be better than PK at some things, worse at others. Both will put butts in seats, and then bring those same butts out of them.
