Pensées? Je ne pensais pas qu’il obtiendrait un accord bidirectionnel, je pensais juste qu’il signerait avec Chicago. J’espère que ce n’est pas votre premier appel de centre car je pense que Suzuki mérite une chance.

Good. I thought he played well enough to get at least an AHL spot. A lot of people will say it’s due to RBA, but that is unfair to SBA. If he excels in Chicago, my guess is he would be picked up by another team and play his way into the NHL without the perceived stigma of his dad being behind it. Same thing for Jaccob Slavin’s brother. He had a fine preseason and deserves all the consideration that comes with it.
Nice, good for him. At first I had mixed feelings about bringing him to camp because of the obvious nepotism angle, but after watching him in preseason, he’s earned it.
Good for him. He didn’t blow me away with his play, but it was respectable enough.
Him and Josiah Slavin were surprisingly good. They stood out to me in pre-season
I’m fine with this. He played solid in the preseason and this gives us even more depth down the stretch, since the injury bug always seems to hit us hard. If he performs then great, and if not it’s only for one year
Honestly I hate to say this, but I watched every preseason game and SBA was more noticeable than Suzuki. Suzuki has a bit more talent obviously, but he just doesn’t have skill at an NHL level, nor the defensive qualities you’d want in a grinder. SBA played a solid defensive game and while he didn’t produce much offensively I could see him holding down some minor 4th line minutes in the NHL as a purely defensive forward
Suzuki is even behind FUS right now if you want a skilled center
