It is really surprising that Drance, at 8:20 of the video., seems to believe the myth that a team that loses a player on waivers has priority if the player is placed back on waivers. The Canucks don't get priority if Boston puts Patera on waivers, the only advantage the Canucks would have is if Boston waives Patera and Vancouver is the only claimant, they can assign Patera to Abbotsford without waiving him again.
