Not sure if the order matters, but it does look like both Schneids and Trouba are getting reps on their off-side. That makes me think Mancini has made the team, but they don’t want him to play LD?

Schneider/Trouba will be zone exit hell
However, it doesn’t matter that 4/8 is a disaster pair because the other 2 pairs are dominant. If Laviolette shelters 4/8 and gives the majority of the ice time primarily to the other pairs, then that is a massive net win for NYR. You’re setting yourself up to where 80%+ of your 5v5 play is going to be dominant and therefore unlikely you’ll lose that game state in the other 20%

Let’s hope it stays this way although trouba and Schneider are gonna have a hell of a time getting the puck out of our end lol.
