I loved this whole saga. Bruins mismanagement team fumbled this whole negotiation. On the plus side, it just showed 31 other teams what NOT to do during negotiations.
Crazy how Amazon Prime showcases Swayman in their "Face Off" trailer, yet Boston's bean counters complain that his taste is too expensive for their liking. (Or, at least his agent's liking)

It's more than that. Swaymen also took a $23 million in bonuses and a no trade clause. Now he has us by the balls for 8 years.

This had nothing to do with money, and by all accounts was a feelings battle. Otherwise you would never hold out on either side over such a small amount.
