This is my first “wtf Conroy” moment. Every other trade, signing, I can see the bigger picture but not this one.
We shouldn’t be risking losing a 23 year old former 1st rounder who was injured most of last season, especially for a 8th defenceman like Hanley???

There’s a couple names that might be more interesting to teams than Pelletier and Cooley. There’s a chance they both clear. In fact I think schwindt might be claimed before Pelletier

Can somebody ELI5 why they had to put Cooley on waivers to go to the AHL? I thought he had a 2 way contract

Re pelts: There are other first rounders being waived, if I was a GM I’d not be trying to snag him up hastely. Would be sad to Cooley get yanked but wolf deserves it, but I don’t want to see cooleys bunny in another teams jersey

Sucks but had to happen, I’m fairly confident cooley should pass through no problem and hopefully if pelts gets claimed whichever team takes him puts him on waivers again so we can just take him back
