@Maple Leafs de Toronto

Murray will get through no problem. Really worried about losing Rifai though. He’s ready for NHL minutes

waiving Rifai is giving me flashbacks to last year when they stupidly waived McMann. Luckily the other GMS were dumb and let us keep McMann, but we might not be so lucky again

Leafs probably don’t have a trading partner for a couple of players, hence Rifai to the minors.

Dubas has to grab at least one right? Right?!

Rifai probably gone. A shame, while I wasn’t on board with shoving him in the lineup full time right away it would have been nice to be able to protect him as an extra on the NHL roster to start the season.

But I guess this means Holmberg made it. Interested to see how the forwards work out.

Shoutout to Murray’s agent for putting out there that’s he’s not 100% healthy lol

Murray is a good third option, but Rifai would be sad to see go.

Feels like a Liljegren trade is coming if Timmins and Myers both aren’t on waivers.

Leafs are $1.84M over the cap (and carrying 24 players) before signing Pacioretty and Lorentz. Only Knies ($925,000) can be sent down without waivers, so they have to make a trade before tomorrow at 5PM.

Murray played for the Greyhounds….he’s so going back to Pittsburgh

When do we find out if Lorenz made it , we need that guy 💯

I know Rifai has looked pretty solid during pre-season and in the limited games he played last year but you guys gotta relax a bit lol. Some of you are acting like this guy was a former first rounder with a ton of NHL games played and would be on the radar of many teams. He likely gets through waivers, guys almost always pass through waivers at the end of pre-season. Especially twenty six year olds who like I said have played a very limited number of NHL games

I love how everyone claims *insert name here* is gone as soon as the Leafs put anybody on waivers, lmao.

  13. It would be a shame to lose Rifai but it’s pretty apparent the Leafs are loaded with 6,7,8 type defencemen.

Losing Rifai is gonna sting. Looked much better than Liljegren and Timmins

  15. honestly thought rifai would deserve some NHL games

Just heard that Lorentz signed a one year deal today, as expected! I’m sure it’ll be announced soon

  17. Volderon90

Brad won’t let them take Rifai. It’s not like the Dubas era when teams just picked them to fuck him.

  18. Murray at this point is that guy from spongebob whos severely injured
