I don't like the 8.25mil. first off that's the rest of the Bruins cap space so another year of blowing all the money before the season even starts. But also I've said it before Swayman has proved nothing aside from a really good round 1 last year and being a solid 1B for 40 games. In 3 years this deal might look good but for now, I don't love it

A part time goalie (up to this point) should not go into a negotiation trying to "reset the goalie market." I understand 100%, if they walked away, someone else would have given it to him, so spare me the "demand sets the market" speech. Still not right.
No way I would have given swayman that contract. Resets the bar for goalie prices in a bad way imo.
