When he was getting inducted to the HoF I went back and watched a ton of old highlights and holy shit. I forgot just how awful most of the Rangers teams were back then defensively. Most of those rosters are wild card teams without him

There’s a really good documentary on Netflix about his heart surgery and his attempt to return to hockey called « Open Heart ». The way his career ended was such a bummer, but he’s really good on the TNT broadcasts.
He’s always been one of my favorite goalies, even as a Flyers fan.
