Healing an injury is only half the battle. You have to trust your body after, and that can often be a bigger issue than the injury itself.
First camp where McMann hasn’t been fighting for a contract.
Really missed Bobby during the Bruins shit show series.
It’s a long season fellas
He just looked lackadaisical during the preseason games I watched. I’m sure it’s because of the injury. He’s valuable member of the team but idk if he belongs in the top 6
I’m not worried.
Guys are going to be in and out of the lineup all season long with injuries and what not.
Everyone fell in love with McManns back half of the season. He showed he can play both sides of the ice and be a huge part of this team. Solid secondary option for goals and defensive but his role is never guaranteed, before January he was a 27 year old tweener. He has to keep fighting and drive himself into the line up.
Berube says « nothing to worry about » and « I’m not worried » a lot. I like it – better than before when we always seemed concerned about every little thing. No need to stress about everything. Just go and play.
It’s practice lines of game 1. He’ll be a big part of this team people need to chill with the outrage of him potentially sitting instead of someone on the fourth line.
Berube is pushing him to be better and earn his spot back in the top 9. Dressing him as a fourth liner to spare his feelings isn’t going to help his development.
Tough love. Chin up tits out, he’ll be fine.
