We all know they’ll get bailed out of cap hell by the NHL anyway

Igor deserves his bag but also salivating at getting him the hell out of the metro

He’s worth the money he wants but man it’ll hurt. Rags don’t have many team friendly contracts iirc and that core is about done. They’re gonna have to buy their way into a bunch of new stars and that ain’t cheap.

Hey it’s only a few more bucks than Trouba 🤷🏼‍♂️

    😂

Reminder that if you combine lundqvists and shesterkin career numbers they are still 90 wins, 2 vezinas and 3 Stanley cups behind Martin Brodeur.

I was so suprised to find out Panarin is 35. Forgot how long it was before he got to the NHL

Nothing less that 20 million a year

Either they lose Igor or they pay him what he wants and can’t afford anyone else. Sounds like a win-win for Devils fans!

I hope Igor gets the bag of $12 mil a year with the Rags. Sure it’ll suck shooting on him for a few more years but their core is aging out and this year IMO is their last chance to win a cup with what they have. They won’t be able to afford any role players of note with Igor’s new contract and their core players are already under hefty deals. They might have to kiss good young players like K’Andre Miller goodbye and forget signing anyone else who can get them over the hump except for the usual past their prime former all stars they love to sign and 95 percent of the time none of those players pan out for them

Fuck this is funny. He’s the biggest reason there’s any talk of Stanley Cup hopes for the Rags. He’s got them over an absolute barrel. Either becomes the highest paid goalie in the history of the NHL or he goes to a competent franchise, hopefully in the West.

Sounds like they are screwed either way. How many times has this guy bailed them out in the playoffs?
