This sucks so much. He had such a good rookie/training camp

This is such a tough break for Behrens. I hope he recovers well

Should have brought him up to the big team, then put him on LTIR for the season.

Gutted for him. This really should have been an important season for his development. I hope he can recover and get back to it.

Goddamn, I hate this news. Hope he gets the recovery he needs to come back in great shape

Wow that’s super rough news. He was finally going pro and starting to gear up for a spot with the Avs, so I have to imagine this is a major setback.

My heart goes out to Sean and his family as this must really suck for everyone involved. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

    What the fuuuuuck

I was really looking forward to Behrens taking that next step forward from his promising NCAA career, even if he just stayed in the AHL all season. This is devastating for his development

That’s just fucked up. Hope he can bounce back and kick ass next year 🙁

As a Bills and Avalanche fan I’m very annoyed with how the injury bug is targeting my teams.

Holy shit imagine coming into your first pro year and this happens. Tragic.

Sucks man. I was looking forward to having another hometown kid on the team to play with LOC.

And so it begins…..again.  Feel terrible for Sean

Ughhh. I’ve been watching him at DU for 3 seasons and was so excited to see him on the ice last week with the big guys. I have faith he’ll be back and stronger, but boy am I bummed. The only upside is it means fewer Eagles games this year (I can’t stand the cowbells).
