Prediction, leafs are going to struggle to make the playoffs and they'll blame it on being plagued by injuries all season..
Need to trade for center depth, 2nd line C would be nice.

Sure in theory Nylander would be great at 2 C for 3rd line depth, but be for real if you have watched hockey your whole life and watched Nylander with his tenure on the leafs, you know damn well through and through he is a true coaster style winger, its where he shines and berube saw it within probably 5 minutes at practice

I really like that Chief has this extra power, and that he expects his team to have an identity from get-go not still trying to figure it out a week before the playoffs like we've seen the last few years
I think it’s time for Lily to be traded and go someplace where he can develop and have his skills backed up by a partner who can bail him out until he can bail himself out. He’s just never ever been a complete player for the Leafs -his puck control at the Blue line is terrible, he gets bowled over by the lightest checks, and he doesn’t seem to have great hockey sense, making bad giveaways frequently, but he does seem to have flashes of exceptional talent and when he displays those skills he’s great.
It just doesn’t seem to work for him here in Toronto. Getting that 3 million off the cap books would be very helpful too.
