His full game preseason appearance was pretty strong. Twas the Pens game where we had an AHL roster and they had Crosby, Malkin, Letang playing. We got outshot 44-19 but won 2-1.
Hopefully Husso can get off to a strong start this year. It would make things so much easier for us if he was just good and healthy.

He was the best goalie in preseason IMO. Would have been my choice but Lyon was close. I’m a tiny little bit nervous about Talbot.

Happy for the guy. Lost his net when he had to fly back from Sweden for the birth of his child and never got it back. Fought through the injuries and finally looked like his old self in preseason. Big HUUUUUUSSSS from me.

Glad Husso had a strong preseason. I figured he was at the greatest risk to get waived if we rolled two goalies before the preseason started. I figured Lyon’s relative reliability last year would give him a lot of leeway, along with Talbot, who I didn’t think had a chance to get waived due to just signing him.
Wonder how this rotation will work out and if Lyon is gonna get shafted again until there are no other options like last year.
