It's because Schiefle throws a tantrum when he doesn't play with Connor. It's clears Ehlers doesn't get along with Schief and when Wheeler was moved Schief should have been moved as well.
I think management is too soft, they’re scared to bench the “good locker room guys” because they’re too nice. Need to look at it more as a business than your beer league team.
Last year was the last chance I was giving Chevy. I've been tired of him for years now. He let me down with his last chance. I want him out.

I think lambert will get called up after 20 games or so. Jets 4th overall last year and this year they are underrated once again and could surprise many
Definitely have the same feelings as I did on April 30th when we were eliminated (which is also my birthday, btw…) and with the same team (arguably a bit weaker, even), I think my feelings are justified.
…with all that said, I went into last season with little hope and aside from a horrible playoff performance, we completely overperformed. I'm hoping we are wrong and are competitive to keep me interested this winter.

Good truthful observations. Love it! Unfortunately there is no VISION or FUTURE STRATEGY in this Management team. Status quo, Status quo,Status Quo until the Quo wants to leave, demands a trade, retires or becomes UFA and leaves. And when Quo is gone they replace it with a Clone of what left. Like some comfy old blanket! Also look at the Moose Players- like they never get talked about because they are terrible. There’s zero hope in those guys. The majority of players up and leave the end of the season and those who have an NHL contract get claimed on waivers by other teams after being “ developed” for years.
I agree it could get ugly this year for Jets Fans especially if Helle is injured or has just a sub par year?

Hard to disagree with ANYTHING you said especially the part about attendance. If team management doesn't care, and it is obvious they don't, then why would fans continue to pay upwards of $200 for 1 game? I always defend Chevy because I know the Jets will never land a big name free agent and any veteran with a NTC/NMC will always refuse a trade to Winnipeg, but c'mon, I honestly don't see ANY effort by Chevy anymore.

We will obviously have to wait a few weeks to see where things go. We got slumped on D by the injuries considering if Flurey or Coughlan play good and we have to waive them, we will probably deal with the same as past 2 years. With that happening, I feel like they made decisions on that.
With the salary cap rules, it looks like they're going to do what they can to accure cap space by the deadline.
When I said to wait, I mean that in response to Schifeles 8 games. They sent Connor down and he made it undeniable to bring him up. Lets see if Lambert or Chibs, even Salmo can do the same.
The core its self hasn’t changed, I do like Miller on defence but the way things look currently, I have a gut feeling it’s a repeat of last year.
