Not sure how I feel about this. I know he hasn’t been up to par in the playoffs, but losing a young puck moving defenceman doesn’t sound ideal given the average age of our dmen.
Play him tomorrow, see what he does. Timmins and oel had parts of goal against.
He’s had opportunities to prove himself in a higher role and just can’t stay consistent for more than a few games, and he clearly hasn’t earned the trust of multiple Leaf coaches and management. At this point a move has felt inevitable
He’s had years and years and plenty of chances with this team. I support it.
Time to move on.
