  1. Igor pls leave. Pls I’m begging you. I know you’re good and all (really good) but you play for the Rangers so I hate you. I don’t want to hate you, but you’re giving me no choice.

  2. Your next video should be who you think will be the top 10 players that will get traded this year (edit) I just realized I wasn’t subbed so I subbed

  3. I can see 12 or 13, a solid goalie is hard to lock up for a decent run. If the oilers had Igor instead, then I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a couple of cups by now

  4. I have read that Igor is not looking to commit that much term to NY, he was actually talking about a 2 year deal which gives him an out if he loses confidence in the NYR project. if he commits to an 8 year max term contract, he could find himself stuck in another NYR rebuild and be too expensive to trade and if NYR wins a Cup during that time or is still able to make another run, he can look for another contract at even better value. It's not just about the AAv for Igor, he wants to be able to control his destiny.

  5. Signing a goalie to 8 years has never worked out. We have literally all of history to back that claim up. I’d trade him immediately

  6. imagine him on a contract year tho, if the rangers dont pay say, 12, people may think we see someting they done behind closed doors cuz remember, he only plays like 2/3 reg season games with Quick playing A LOT for a backup (and better for long stretches) – but with other goalies/inflaction over the next 8 years i think 12 is the line that makes sense, and i LOVE igor and he honestly makes the playoffs half as stressful

  7. turning it down/thinking he can get more on the FA Market are not mutually exclusive, his agent could just be agenting, not many goalies wanna leave a major market ESP on original 6 like NYC of all places where he'd be the highest paid AND Have Quick playing like 20-30% of the reg season games anyway, got enough young talent thats got deep playoff exp to actually win within the next couply yrs its makes sense

then again if he wants to play chicken imagine him playing on a contract yr, id give him up as a FA for a cup this year…

  8. is there anyone who WOULDNT give him up for a cup aka put him on a contract yr so he plays out of his skin one last time before being a UFA?"

guess it depends how long uve been waiting, like im 36 (so 7yrs old in 94) watching w just my Dad hella late at in a bar in mexico on a fam vacation with chicken pox – my mom was piiiiiiissed back at th ehotel wi my other bro but he wanted me to see it, glad i did haha its been OVER THIRRTHY YEARS OF WAITING NOW!

  9. If I was a Rangers fan, I would prefer Igor walk, or better yet, trade him now. I prefer guys on my team who are interested in winning championships, not just making as much money as possible.

  10. Rangers are in a bad spot with this one. Sign what Igor wants or become irrelevant. Same situation as with Swayman. I don't blame Igor either, he's a future hall of famer and should earn that kind of money. But paying that kind of money to one guy will not win you any cups (hopefully Oilers can prove me wrong this year). Honestly the low salary cap is to blame if you ask me.
