This long-term injury is actually pretty interesting, lineup wise. Pascal and Larsen both used Jenner in basically every high pressure situation as a Swiss army knife. Not saying Evanson would do the same, but we could see a lot of youth movement in those situations now. Something too look out for

Maybe it’s crazy, but I still think this team is going to overperform this year. I think it’s entirely possible at least 3 of KJ, Fantilli, Marchenko, Chinny and Silly take significant steps forward this year, we’ll have far better team structure overall with Evanson, and Elvis will stabilize to become an average goalie behind more coherent team play. If we can also get somebody like Pyyhtia, Brindley, or Mateychuk to surprise and become a significant piece this season, we can be better than most think.
Well… it’s a good thing this is a garbage throwaway season. I guess our lottery odds just went way up
