@Jets de Winnipeg

1. As a jets fan, its a great way to start especially with our brand new coach but it doesn’t matter how you start it matters how you finish

  2. Oilers fan, I'm not to upset just there opening game anyways, defintely could of been better though lol

  3. Oilers lost Desharnais, Ceci and Broberg on defense, that's half their defense used in the playoffs. And for some reason they didn't feel like replacing them. Yes the offense sucked too but we know that won't be a problem later on. They also lost Mcleod, Holloway and Foegele. You know what they have in common? Speed. Having Perry and Ryan together, who can't skate is brutal.
    Also I think Bowman put a curse on this team with his bad Karma

  4. 6 goals were scored, and it was a history making night for Connor in Edmonton. What more do Oiler fans want.
    Oh wait it was Kyle Connor making history, nevermind 😂

  5. I was at the game last night. The crowd was electric, then the turnover right out of the gate and it was dead silence for the rest of the night. Almost impressed at how miserably the Oilers played

  6. Oiler fan and it was rough… Seeing the stands clearing out early would have been hard for the team to watch too, but after how last season went? There was definitely a lot of hype for the start of this season and the guys are definitely very rough. For sure they took time away from the rink as McDavid got married as a prime example (and happy for Mr and Mrs McDavid!) so I'm not worried over this start. Anyways, a 6 goal diff is smaller than a 7 goal diff… So it's technically still a better start than last year? Lol

    Jets were definitely on fire on all lines, like, wow, they carpet bombed us. Well played fellas!

  7. I love the first 3 goals coming from the bottom 6. Kupari breaking out would be incredible

  8. Oilers defense is atrocious. Let this sink in…Nurse, Emberson, Kulak, Dermott. That's 2/3 of their starting defense right there and 3 of those 4 are fringe NHL/AHL players who don't make probably 30 other teams in the league or are that 7th dman that is a healthy scratch for half the season. Then you have Nurse who is a #4 dman but paid like a #1. All of the sudden Ceci, Broberg, Desharnauis don't seem so bad. Instead of addressing that big obvious issue what did they do, they spent money on Corey Perry, brought in two aging wingers one of which can't stay healthy. And then filled in the defense with those fringe NHL/AHL players I just mentioned.

  9. I hope Skinner still has that sports psychologist in retainer. What a rough start to the season.

  10. I wasn't proud of the way Vancouver opened it up, and my only solace was to see the score of Oilers v Jets

  11. I don't feel like it was as much of a blowout as the score indicated. The oil dictated the play through most of the game. It was just that when the Jets got the puck they setup some pretty tic-tac-toe goals. As the season goes on a lot of the passes that they connected on are a lot harder to find, and the team that controls the game, like the Oilers did, end up winning. So while nobody in Winnipeg is dissapointed with a 6-0 win, they need to work on face-offs, so that they don't get out shot every night.

  12. as an oilers fan who never doubted we would make the playoffs last year i think it is far from panic time. always going to be due for some big losses each year, just sucks for it to be game 1

  13. Did you use the same voice from last year's video? 🤣🤣😂😂

    A coaching change again in Nov. is imminent!
