Yeah I feel the same. I just don’t get the appeal of basketball. What little interest I had in it was completely ruined when I got to see the (absolutely terrible) 76ers play the Lebron/Big3 Heat. Sixers were down like single digits after 3 Quarters, and then the Big3 actually tried and they ended up beating them by like 30 points I’m not sure the Sixers scored more than 10 points the entire quarter. Any sport where you can half ass 3/4 of the game and still blow the other team out ain’t it for me. Maybe it’s different when you have evenly matched teams but it really turned me off to the sport. No shade to those who enjoy it
Jesus christ, following one sport for 6 months a year is exhausting enough. I don’t understand why anyone would want to live in a perpetual cycle of pain like that.
To be fair the sixers haven’t even sniffed a conference finals so the expectations shouldn’t even be that high. The process died about 4 years ago. I like the fact that the Flyers fly under the radar, tempered expectations.
