That was so nice. A goal we’d be talking about for years if he had scored on that play

What a fucking beauty

That’ll probably be a top 5 Leafs play this year

Notice that he laid that hit mid stride with one leg in the air. Kid is a tank

Seeing it in real time was great.
Also, love that Knies did that I stead potentially colliding knees.

Don’t his teammates call him ‘brick’?

Leafs have to let Marner go. He’s a great player and hate to see him go but you can’t re-sign all your young rising stars long term if all the money is tied up.

Knies has looked unbelievably strong these first two games. He’s stealing pucks at will, forechecking like a mad man, and running through guys.
Hamilton, who goes 6’6”/230, is going for the hit here, he’s not caught off balance or blindsided. And Knies just flattens him.
I really hope he can keep this up, and show he can consistently be “that” player for us.

Man that was Knies.

Very very Knies! Kid is gonna play for his bag, makin big plays like that! Love it!!
Big_Albatross_3050
if he develops his mitts a bit more, then that’s a sure fire goal.
It’s a good thing he happens to be on team with 88, 34, and 16
