Everybody's been dissing the Flames for not making the right off-season moves and so on, but there is nothing like having a team gel and rally with the tools they have!
It's kind of the opposite with how the Oilers have been playing.
(Oh ye hockey gods, bless the Oilers! 🤘)
Conroy > Treliving. Conroy identified the teams main problem, no compete, no composure, easy to unravel. If that game was any indication the Flames finally stopped playing like a clubhouse and became a team. I don't even care if they lose every game, at the very least don't quit and mope if things go poorly. Treliving's teams are super high talent but super low compete and easy to get flustered.
No more whining and pouting get to work, move those legs, make a play. There was more pushback in that one game than I've seen in years. They were frontrunners for years, that could only win if everything went their way and would qui when it didn't.
If Backlund would have just passed to coleman(I think) then it wouldn't have had to go to OT. We were lucky to finish it off. I'm happy we got the win but this could have been a video about how VC came back and won and all we are talking about is why Backlund didn't pass to Coleman.
What’s even better about the Miller goal is he BRUTALLY gave it away before Hughes blocked it, really redeemed an ugly play with that one
Please tell me YouTube has rules now that you can’t show a hockey fight? I mean, that has to be the reason why you did not include that that’s half the reason some of us watch the game still.
It was in the cards for Calgary to win after the Gaudreau tragedy, happy for them. The Canucks will figure it out and be fine.
Weegar and Huberdeau smelled the cup-funk on Ryan Lomberg after the Panthers raised the banner and got FUCKIN INSPOED LAST NIGHT.
Some of the most crazy play from Calgary in a minute. Hockey is SO BACK
These canucks man….
Not gonna read into individual performances too much just yet but damn that was an entertaining game.
Watching the game in person definitely was a crazy experience. Seeing Connor Zary dangle in past Silvos was nuts. One of the most entertaining games I've been to of all time.
Solid game last night
We were doing so good in the first 20 minutes and hopes were high, then all our chances of winning plummet in the last 40 or so.
I forgot edmonton had lost the home opener to vancouver 8-1 . Maybe this is a good sign for the nucks
1st period = last years playoff team
1st intermission = “You know what we should do guys? Let’s go play the next 2 periods like the 2021-2022 Canucks would play them. That should work.”

Are you flames fan?
Not only did the Canucks forget how to play defense but both Hronek and Pettersson had both shit games but the Canucks will bounce back 💚💙
I'm a Vancouver fan and I love Miller. The hit he laid on was a clean one but I did not like the fans chanting his name while a guy was still on the ice and it wasn't clear he was going to get up on his own.
I wish the league, OR at the very least the rink would put a big, man down sign on the jumbo. Safety and sportsmanship should always be number one
Vancouver is so overrated, thank you Flames
Manta was a good pickup
i’m a canucks fan but my aunts bf is a calgary fan we were at the game together and after the OT winner zary gave my aunts bf his stick a really cool moment in that game
2:05 Hold it, why's Lu wearing a fake thumb? Is he trying to be a magician.
As a canucks fan; I enjoyed that game. If we get the point, I feel good about that~
That was an absolutely BONKERS game. What a way to start off the season! Hope the Roon Dog is all good. Love your content man
Go 🔥’s
That boser (bad grammar sorry) goal looks like that game 6 2003 goal from Paul karia
Mantha thinks hes a pt a game player….. watch out for the fights 🙄
