@Flames de Calgary

  1. I’d be worried about Petersson. He’s scored seven even strength goals since the beginning of this year, which also includes the playoffs.

  2. Scumbag Vancouver fans cheering while a stretcher is coming out for an injured player. Classless

Hope they miss the playoffs just based on their awful fanbase.

Worst in the league by far

  3. My predictions of Calgary being the worst team in the west and Edmonton winning their division doesn't look good so far…

  4. As a Canucks fan I am not completely blaming Arty for the loss. WTF was Hronek doing on the gwg? A weak little reach with the stick as the great….Connor Zary dances around him? $7.25 you say? I hope they were just shaking out cobbed webs, because there in no way that you should lose when you are up 4-1 at home. Nice job by the Flames to keep working, when the Canucks were already counting the W.

  5. Oilers falling apart? How about the Jets (and the Lowry line in particular) playing a great game…

  6. NHL games broadcasting is so fucked up. Why was there a French broadcast for the Chicago/Utah game?

I've abandonned the idea of getting NHL network or any other broadcaster this year, I'll just find a free and illagal stream for the game I want to watch when they are on.

I know, this is a vicious circle, if the NHL gets less money from broadcasting they have to get it somewhere else like advertising. Luckily, most free stream skips on adverts which I really love since most of them are for betting & gambling and that really needs to be better regulated.

BTW @Eck, if you ever have a Betting/Gambling sponsor, I'll be the first to block you. Don't do it, I love your content.

  7. I wish I had watched the VAN/CGY game instead of the Oiler's disaster. I don't know if my nerves can handle a repeat of last season.

  8. Game one in. Over reaction much? This page was saying McDavid was leaving and the oilers were cursed last year UNTIL CHRISTMAS. 🤡🤡. It’s an 82 game season. Maybe chill until all star break before you mail it in again and look stupid AGAIN!

  9. as an oilers fan, huberdeau getting going would definitely benefit me as well as I have him on my fantasy roster

  10. Mantha has always looked like he could be a real top rank player but he's never done it. Maybe he has one good year in him and maybe the Flames can get it out of him this year and they'll need it.

  11. Not to boast but west coast is best coast and will help you post the most.

  12. Huberdeau looked, better, not his old self, but very similar to the last half of last season. This season is going to be made or broken by that line with Mantha and Pospisil. Great game by them, and so glad I didn't turn it off after the first. And finally, screw you Vancouver for chanting for Miller when someone could have just broken their neck, real classy.

  13. The Leafs definitely didn't do Leafs things. They got shutout for the first time in 3 years and had a goalie make big stops for them all night (I'd argue Stolarz looked better than Montembault regardless if he faced more shots. Half of the shots were awful.)

Definitely wasn't a good game, but at least they're trying new things lol

  14. Don’t get me wrong, the Hughes-Miller play was a thing of beauty, but how is that “goal of the night” compared to the actual game winner by Zary??

  15. Huby needed to throw away his Pants tools and restock with Flames tools. His compete, care, work or skill was never an issue. He passed all the time because he changed tools and was all fumbley. Now he has Conny and Huska tools in his belt and he knows where he and the guys will be. This season he will shock everyone.

  16. Western teams are a STRUGGLE to watch here in the Maritimes. Can't be staying up to 2am everyday. And if it's an OT game forget it.

  17. Ah my dude's from Halifax! That's cool! Beautiful place! That Canucks game was a treat, despite the loss. At least they got a point. Would be a real delight if they became a real contender.

  18. I'm totally hoping as a Habs fan Calgary overplays
There 1st round pick top 10 is protected but if they finish 11 or worst it's MTL 😅

  19. As a flames fan I've never really had issues with Huberdeaus effort level. I've had plenty of issues with the fact he never produces no matter what he does and will have ridiculously close chances or passing just a hair off, like an easy tap in for Zary last night went right on his skates instead of stick

  20. Despite the loss I have to say the Canucks look like a deeper team then they did last year. But I was still raging at the OT winner…

  21. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

  22. Well the west coast hockey games start at 7pm. Same as east coast. Not really trying to make Halifax fans the focus.

  23. Canucks are the most overrated team in the league

Boo-boo on his knee sit down to pee Beta Pettey is the most overrated C in the league

  24. If Nucks get even slightly below average goaltending they win that game in regulation. Only faced 25 shots and had way more high danger chances than Calgary did.

  25. I see all your work (and your support-guys too!) keep it up, the grind is worth it you can see all the tracktion across your channels, POSSIBLY might think about centralizing, focussing on the one with the most growth and outsourcing some of the others, just for workload share (there is a point where your creativity goes missing when you have too much day-to-day business going on)

  26. Man I couldn’t do it on the east coast!!

When I was in New Brunswick, I couldn’t watch Oilers games and go to work the next day. I’d be hitting 2 am every time.

Wasn’t until my daughter was born and I took PAT leave!!! I’d do 100% baby duty if the oilers were playing!!!

Now I’m 30 minutes from Roger’s place! (8:00 pm local is still ridiculously late to me; and my kids are too young to get to stay up and watch a game.)
Why is a home game not starting at 6:00/6:30 local?!

  27. Yep. Game 1 and the Canucks are already blowing multi-goal leads. 2022-23 redux.
