Nice to see the Kraken embrace the Seattle tradition of heart attack games

  4. LC_From_TheHills

Don’t give af about the X’s and O’s and stats and arguing…

FIRST W OF THE SEASON LFG KRAKEN SQUAD

  5. 2 POINTS BABY!!!! THATS KRAKEN HOCKEY!!!!!!!!!! THE STREAK STARTS NOW

  6. Love the way we kept fighting back.

Didn’t love that we kept having to, but great effort nonetheless!

  7. IronSlayTallica

God damn, shootouts are stressful as fuck, but awesome to get the first W of the season 🦑🦑🦑

  8. SoloGhosts512

Win!!! Hak being gone was so obvious on who took shots in the shootout. Offense looking damn good but defense was very rough. Daccord was up and down but made some key stops. Glad Boldy and Kaprizov kinda gave him shit shots in OT

  9. TreeBeard___

First win for this season and the kraken fought tooth and nail. Great way to set the tone and get some confidence going!

  10. ChortleChat

who is this Kraken team? they made the wild cry when it came to the shootouts. amazing W

  11. MAHHockey

Good character game. Multiple comebacks and response goals (something we seemed to be on the opposite end of last season), and a shoot out win (something we didn’t have too many of last season).

Still a few D-Zone issues to clean up, but good to see some progress! Go Kraken!

  12. OverMyDadBody

Three clean as hell shootout goals on the road. That was joyous.

  13. Antilock049

Good win and great response goals. Definitely doing better in the face off dot

  14. JubsTheRagdoll

We can score goals! Hopefully the start of good things to come

  15. Just copying and pasting over here

    Looked good tonight.

Couple of errors by Wright led to goals but that’s ok. Rookies need ice time and to learn. I’m sure it’ll be addressed in the next film session and improved upon.

Also great to see the power play not be an absolute shit show like last year

  16. Emberwake

They are really harping on Wright for that defensive lapse, but I see worse breakdowns from the vets every single game. Let it go.

  17. SeattleKrakenTroll

What a way to win! That never happened last year

  18. knightnshiningbeskar

THE CURSE HAS LIFTED. WE CAN COME
BACK FROM MULTI POINT DEFICITS. WE WILL DO IT MORE OFTEN. I HAVE SPOKEN.

  19. LauzonIsHotGarbage

What a weird game! Trailed most of the way, but hustled in OT and looked silky in the shootout? I’m liking this new Kraken.

  20. hottubman_99

I bet Minn is pissed dropping this one after being ahead so often, buttttt sorry boys, the Kraken earned this one by not quitting. Couldn’t be more proud of our guys.

  21. DrivenMercenary

It’s always a great day when i get to watch Bjorkstrand flex his skills.

  22. DeadlyRedCube

Fucking Amazon feed cutting off mid postgame

  23. SiccSemperTyrannis

Kaprizov was killing us almost every shift he was on the ice, but overall this was a good team effort.

Like we saw on Tuesday, I think defensive breakdowns were responsible for multiple goals against us. Specifically the Zuccarello (1-0 Wild) and Hartman (4-3 Wild) goals were nearly identical. Wild player has the puck behind the net to Daccord’s right and makes a clean pass to an uncovered Wild forward in the slot who one-times the puck into the net. Those are extremely high-danger chances and it is a tall order asking any goalie to stop them consistently.

Even so, the Kraken kept finding ways to respond and stayed in the game all night. They never let the game get away from them and had several great chances to win in OT. Daccord and the shooters showed up in the shootout to seal the 2 points. Love to see it.

All considered, a fun and exciting game with lots of scoring but some of the same defensive issues we saw on Tuesday. Plenty for the coaches to clean up with the players during practice and video review.

  24. SlapshotPuck29

Bring out the victory duck! The unofficial Kraken mascot had been last seen at Xcel Energy Center celebrating a win on April 18th of this year, and is reportedly ready to fly to Dallas.

  25. Shane mugging in the background of Bjorkstrands interview is amazing

  26. Crazy_King_Bumi

First win of the season!! THAT’S KRAKEN HOCKEY BABY!!!

  27. BucksBrew

Kraken and losing shootouts. Name a more iconic d…

NO WAIT WE WON GO KRAKEN

  28. Apprehensive_Bid_773

That was a really impressive win. Fought back consistently, survived OT AND WON A SHOOTOUT. Hockey is so back and so are we.

  29. toomuchdiponurchip

LETS GO FIRST W OF YEAR 4!!!!! WHERE IS THE DUCK????

  30. PlanetMercy

I was nervous for a shootout but they’ve been practicing!

  31. tonytanti

Eberle’s 82 goal pace is entirely sustainable.

  32. UnroastedPepper

Losing on the road? Impossible for this team!

    Game wasn’t even close!

    *Heavy breathing*

  33. Patient-Cat-8781

Ebs really gave a captain worthy game here, hell yeah

  34. hottubman_99

I just can’t get over how good I feel about this win. These guys made mistakes but just kept fighting and got a very nice win. The post-game show confirmed so much of what I was feeling during the game. Just a great win guys.

  35. Man, Wild fans as salty AF. Acting like the refs gave us the win when they turned a blind eye to late hits on our boys several times.

  36. So…what do we think of Vince Dunn rn? I’m hoping he’s okay for tomorrow. Cross your fingers guys 🤞
