Un grand merci à l’organisation et aux fans pour être venus représenter la ville et honorer à nouveau Matthew et Johnny. La célébration de sa vie et toutes les choses incroyables qu’il a faites pour la ville et ses fans étaient définitivement à l’honneur hier soir.
L’équipe s’est également présentée, a très bien joué et c’est comme ça qu’elle commence la saison 2-0.
Les Flames ont battu les Flyers 6-3 et Huberdeau a disputé son premier match de quatre points en tant que Flame !
Peu importe si cela est durable, avec tout le bruit qui arrive dans la saison sur la reconstruction, si les garçons remportent trois victoires d’affilée, l’ambiance sera impeccable !

Had a terrible 2nd but held the lead., came back in the 3rd and played flames hockey. It sure is fun watching this team, now let’s go up the #2 and spank the Oil!!!
They need to win tonight’s game. Too many times in the last few years we get the Oilers when they’re slumping and they turn it around against us. For fucking once let’s embarrass them, show no mercy.
Watching this team with absolutely no expectations has been a joy so far. Yes we’ve won both games, but it’s the determination Huska’s got the group going with that’s been so great to watch. Might be a fun season after all.
Last night I came to appreciate that Lindholm didn’t accept the Flames contract offer. This team would not look like this if he was still here. Zadorov is always praised as a locker room guy but I don’t think he was very popular near the end either. The current guys seem to actually care for each other and I can’t stress enough how pumped I am for Lomberg coming back, dude has an eternal motor.
Idc if they lose more than win, just beat Edmonton and Vancouver. This team is fun again lfg
