  1. I’m convinced Hamonic had a P Diddy Party and taped the owners and management in compromising situations. This is the only way I can understand how Hamonic still has a job. He’s awful.

  2. This was terrifying – looked exactly like last season. So many breakdowns, the team was flat footed the whole game, Montreal’s top line made us look like a junior club. Montreals passing, one-timers, skating, all was on display as demonstrably superior. I sure hope this isn’t going to just be a continuation of last year – that was a devastating game – green better pummel these guys what a piss poor effort that was.

  3. We didnt get goalied we had like 3 good chances. Sure Montembeault was solid but even if Fourpisalo was in net we probably only score 1 or 2 goals. They need to figure out how to cycle the puck and get it into the middle of the offensive zone for more high danger chances way too much perimeter play. Hopefully they bounce back this was the easiest game in their schedule for a while

  4. Agree with Ross. G. Is invisible. It’s only two games but I don’t see the same player yet. And the truth is, half our D corps is a disaster. Third pairing awful and Chabot a gaffe machine. Hamonic ????? Oh yeah, he’s healthy now. Such a difference! 🙄

  5. Was forsy behind the pipes tonight love a unimpressed ross and pilzy i hope this isn't deja vu boys

  6. Never thought I'd see the day where Chabot negativity was on LOS! Welcome to the dark side, boys (BTW thanks for not blocking me for comments on him over the last year)! 🙌 Kid's been washed for a while now. Can't defend, read plays, break out, nor hit the broadside of a barn. $8M a season? YIKES!

I could write a novel here about how I'd structure this team, but in a perfect world, he'd be moved to bring in a legit, scoring 1RW (even if it costs us pieces to get rid of his contract). In the meantime though, coach needs to show accountability right away. We played all of 1/3rd of Game 1 & 5 minutes of this one. Absolutely unacceptable performance.

Pinto has shown that he's in the zone right now. Move him to 2C. Ham should be benched for JBD (temporary fix). Chab should also be benched as well but there's no one else to fill the slot for now. MacEwan shouldn't be playing, PERIOD. Brady, Giroux, Bath, and Norris all need to step up. Noticing more jump from lines 3 & 4 than our top players (outside of Stu & Pinto).

Still a bit of a novel tho lol

  7. Thanks guys for doing this. Hard to criticize Norris for not taking one-timers from his old spot. He hasn't had space to do that in at least two years. He's just hit shinpads or sticks if he tries. Teams crowd him and he hasn't found a way to get open.

  8. This team does NOT even resemble a playoff team…awful…Ullmark will regret the day he signed that extension

  9. Hey guys step you all need to step away from the ledge it's only game #2 and we are 1-1 everything will be fine. Go get a a good night sleep and tomorrow the sun will come up again

  10. Only 2 games but man Perron doesn’t look good, he’s invisible. Can’t tell me he’s more effective than Joseph

  11. Pilzy what are you talking about jesen is better then zub and you will find this out gurantee he plays more games then zub too zub is a bandaid you know he will have that lower or upper body injury soon

  12. Habs fans are a special bunch. They boo when they get a penalty (despite it being PAINFULLY obvious it was deserved). They boo when they don't get a PP. They cheer when they get a PP. They think their team should be the only one in the league to never deserve a penalty and only get powerplays. It's embarrassing.

And Arbor Jackoff going after Grieg again is hilarious. Like you said, it it a lifelong thing now?

  13. I truly don't understand how they thought putting Hamonic back in was a good idea! Have they learned NOTHING from last season??

  14. I genuinely appreciate Pillzys' optimism, tho. It's easy to get swept up in the negativity from last season. Gotta remind yourself this is a fresh start with an improved team.

  15. I guess Montreal showed Ottawa what a difference a good goalie can make. Two goals in the first 4 shots. I thought I was watching Korpi all game long.

  16. I'm 100% convinced Batherson should be playing with Timmy. You could even put Gregor on the other wing but Timmy needs people who can keep up with him.

  17. The Sens and Oilers, in their respective games that’d started on Saturday EDT, played rather disjointed, with execution quite a bit off and respective 4-1 and 5-2 losses to the Habs and Blackhawks unsurprising results.

  18. It's looking like more of the same from the Sens. They're still rushing plays instead of thinking them through, trying to get shots through that aren't there, terrible passing, and absolutely no play making ability. Every team knows how to play the Sens? Just put pressure on them and watch them freak out. They're not an aggressive team like they used to be! Was none of this addressed during the off-season?! It's only the 2nd game, but I'm seeing the same habits that lead to them out of the playoff picture by November. Please, God…….not another year of this.

  19. Should have kept Yak up for 9 games. We need all the scoring we can get I feel Sanderson would have made up for rookie mistakes on the 1st pairing then we could have a better 3rd pair. Hammonic should not be in the nhl I’d rather any one else in our system at this point. Ruining Klevens development
