  1. Not the start I thought they’d begin with. They look like they’re trying to do too much 😬. Also, just fire the goalie coach already.

  2. They better score many and win big tonight! It's a perfect matchup tonight to wake Oilers up! They better dig in early tonight!

  3. They look awkward at both ends of the ice, even McDavid. Screening the opposition goalie (not your own) will result in a few of those 30 plus shots actually reaching the back of the net.

  4. I am not happy with the start, but all the changes have to affect a team and coming off such a big year, so not worried, will just wait until things come together.

  5. 31 views in 7mins, bros never falling off. Thanks for the updates again Pat! Awesome content as always!. Disappointing start to the season again 😢

  6. The top 6 has no firepower in the first two games…all frozen beasts without any offensive threats on the ice…

  7. Thanks a lot Patrick for the latest update about the Oilers. Best channel for the latest news. Regards from Germany.

  8. Same oilers when they struggle. No line up at the blue line, give as much space as anyone wants to any high scoring area they choose, while the dmen skate backwards and make sure they arent even in stick reach. On the other end, they line up at the blue line and are constantly wacking anyone who goes anywhere except the wall

  9. not to sound dramatic or anything but this is kinda a must win. You lose, someone is getting fired, waived or traded

  10. Am I worried? Somewhat

Losing 3 defenseman is tough for this team. Ceci, Broberg and Desjharnais. Ceci and Vincent had some good chemistry and Vincent Broberg were a big loss.

While the guys will get better with time, I am worried about the size we lost. We are no longer tough to play against

We lost 3 6 foot defenseman. And replaced them with 3 undersized ones.

Even if Emberson, Stecher or Ty get a lot better, I dont know if any of them are hard to play against
Vincents toughness allowee Ekholm and Bouchard to be more offensive and calm. Nurse having to be the toughest guy in defenseman leads to his bad penalty taking and possible injuries

A trade is inevitable to sure up. Maybe we get Shattenkirk.

    But we need some toughness.

Im not worried about the offense. The better the defense is the better the offense gets

  11. I think if the boys could of capitalized on some of there chances in the 1st the game would have been a different story. The refs 2 a certain extent played apart in the boys MOJO as well.

  12. It's only 2 games………….? we are not firing on all cylinders, we need to be better everywhere. I have never been confident with our goaltending, including last season i hope they can find there game. Iam confident that Knobs will figure it out. GO OIL !!!

  13. I never give up hope. And it's only been two games so it's waaaaay too early to panic. That said ,I honestly think the boys are going to regret changing the core from last year so much. I'm no hockey expert and I understand that some of the new acquisitions have a ton of talent but I do feel the younger up -and-comers on the team that left added a spark and energy to the team that seems to be missing. Anyway go Oil!

  14. My main concern, is goaltending. The skaters, there are many new faces, and that does take time to tighten up. Skinner……… the defense hasn't done him any favours, sure, but he hasn't done them any favours either.

I really don't care that he limped his way to G7 of the SCF last year. He is as unreliable as they come.

  15. Hi Patrick and all Oilers from Germany! Yes, I am fan and so I stand up again at 4 am looking at the prognostated win Patrick 😅!
It was the same Desaster than before and what we really make me speechless was that the team isn't a team!! They couldn't play together, looked like nobody knows the other, so they are never ready when getting the puck! Next, they are are all not fit, that is the only reason to explain unknown stick, passing and shooting problems! If you don't be fit enough, than your concentration level is low, you are not ready if you should, lost all chances to score or defend. That's it!!! And it is for all players. Surely it looked a bit better but the opponent was a Farmteam 😢. Nobody of our team is on NHL level on fitness, unbelievable Stick faults, passing horror, defense not existing, offense unbelievable nervous and full of less concentration. I am not as positive thinking than you Patrick, because if I know the starting problems of my team I'm the past o have to do something against it, especially when I set the target as high as we do! For me, it is horrible to say to that there is no hierarchy in this team, what's important and some players needing a very hard call now. GK Skinner, Bouchard, Nurse, RNH, Human, Ryan represent now not NHL Level. Batman and Robin are looking very tired and their line mates are not ready when passing to them mostly. The staff have to be loud, otherwise it will be the hardest opening ever, from my point of view. So, Patrick, I would like to believe in you but my trust is missing, but I will watch also tonight at 2 am again! Cheers from Germany ❤

  16. Sad start but they will turn it around. Good luck with your home repair. Thanks for the update.

  17. For a guy that wants possibly 8 figures next year, Bouchard has looked like a beer leaguer so far. Guy needs to knock off the nonchalant garbage and make faster decisions
