People might hate 1pm games during a non-work holiday but it’s a cool chance for families and school children to get a chance to fill the rink instead of the normal crowds.
Either way, if you love your team and can afford ice tickets or whatever, it’s not exactly shocking for these people to get multiple weeks of paid vacation so 1 day is nothing.

i got confused. It’s Thanks giving in Canada, and i didn’t realise that this year it falls the same day as an american Holiday. Happy Columbus day yall

So the Senators are playing the Kings during a weekday game where no one in America has the day off. NHL schedule makers are truly terrible
