@Red Wings de Détroit

Le plus grand méchant de l’histoire des Red Wings n’est pas Claude Lemieux ni aucun autre joueur. C’est Richard Gnida.

Mais pour le sujet en question : qui est votre adversaire le plus détesté ?

Mine: Wilf Paiement.

    This may be true, but Claude is the villain you love to hate, Gnida is a person who’s existence I would like to forget.

    Jamie Benn is a good choice, Crysby as well

    Didn’t that ass clown get busted for drunk driving once again some years later?

    Just got my British partner to watch the Russian 5 last night and she was devastated by the ending and what happened to Vlad.

    While it’s incredibly sad I’m moved that fans still think of him (clearly by this popping up the day after rewatching it) and will always hold him close as a wing

    You’re not wrong, but that picture of McCarty standing over a bloodied Lemieux curled up in the turtle is one of my favorite sports images of all time.

    That’s honestly one of the best things about the sport of hockey. You can fuck around all you want, but you WILL get your ass beat for it.

    Other than Claude, Scott Stevens and Peter Forsberg.

    I counter that point by saying it’s the guy who owned the limo company. Gnida was a fool sure enough…but somebody hired that fool with a suspended license to drive that limo for high profile clients….youd think making sure your drive should be driving would be high on the bosses to do list. Gnida was an idiot, but somebody intentionally put that idiot behind a wheel and that’s just as if not more so unforgivable.

    Draper came back to win four cups…. Vladdy lived but was never the same.

    OP is 100% accurate.

    Chris Pronger, 100%. No grudging respect for that rat bastard either. Evgeni Malkin is up there too.

    I rode in the exact same limo with the exact same driver the weekend before the Wings crash. Dude smoked a joint with us yet he managed to pass a drug test. I still have weird dreams about that sometimes.

  11. That event happened not too long after I was in a crash caused by a drunk driver. I wasn’t a hockey fan yet but I remember saying some choice words about hanging that drunk driver up by his (part of the male anatomy). Words that would probably get me banned from social media.

    Patrick Roy. Hated that bastard and truly RELISHED when he let in that “Statue of Liberty” goal in the playoffs. But OP is also correct. Screw Richard Gnida.
