@Oilers d'Edmonton

  1. Oilers have lost big to two teams that were projected pre-season to be basement dwellers (Hawks, Flames). They have scored a total of 3 goals while allowing 15. Powerplay doesn't exist. Penalty kill sucks. McDrai spending time in the box has cost them goals and games. The frustration has already set in. The players can see nothing has changed from last season. They'll have to score their way out of games but it's a lot harder this year than last because teams have figured out the Oilers and how to silence that high-powered, expensive offense.

  2. They just need another new coach. There is too much ego on the team. McDavid himself is not a team player, and was never taught to be. He dominates the individual aspect of hockey. But can't play a team game.

  3. Button is asking for a new System focus that produces more 2nd opportunities that the Forwards can fight for, no kidding huh? Problem is Oilers are built to FINISH PLAYACTIONS not "compete" in the trenches.

  4. Passing way too much on the pp. try to score easy goals. Now is not the time to make plays looks nice. Score some goals first. Shoot everywhere.

  5. This dude is an analyst and he can't see the D corps is significantly worse than it was last year and that they have mediocre goaltending once again.

  6. It’s as concerning as last year when these pages said oilers suck and Mcd is leaving. 🤡🤡🤡. It’s weird that a 82 game season isn’t defined in the first three games but they need content and clicks so let’s just copy and paste last years r worded responses to their bad start and not have an original thought 🤡🤡🤡

  7. Love it. Used to be a fan. Bowman signing, Slime bag Katz and the stars taking all the pie while young studs are sent elsewhere has led me to cheer for another team. I liked the underdog Oilers. This pony show is just the machine. No spark.

  8. Still think this is a hangover from last year. I’m sure they’ll come around and I’m not saying the season is a wash yet after there rally back last year.

  9. They just went to the cup finals, people expecting them to have the juice or motivation to dominate from start to finish in a regular season were making no sense. They would happily finish 2nd in division with home ice in round 1 if it means they have fewer injuries and more to give come later rounds. They can still be tops in the league but spending a lot of energy on that wouldnt be the right move for a team t hat wants a cup more than it cares about a presidents trophy. They will be fine, they will just take a while to get their game going.

  10. I called it once they lost holloway and brobeg as well as the other pieces. Then, I see leon take that contract. That really hurt the team. If players took pay cuts, this team could be good, but overpaying players shows you dont want to win

  11. The lack of faith in this team after what they accomplished last year is biblical. They will figure it out. But man, what a bunch of babies in the comments!

  12. Edmonton deserve alot worse after hiring bowman shouldve been banned for life. the only way mcdavid wins a cup is if he leaves edmonton.

  13. oilers defence and goalie suck ass , lmaoooo yall only went to the finals because every god damn team was injured : Vegas , Colorado , Vancouver

  14. They’re gonna dig themselves into a deep hole and won’t be able to dig out this time. 😂
