@Flames de Calgary

1. Anybody who isnt a baised as F mcdavid fan could see this coming.

the top paid boys ARE the oilers problem and always have been but nobody calls them out on the shit D work the coughing up of pucks resulting on goals and games lost.
they only focus on the look at that wonder goal and the he is top of the points BS.

the top boys will NEVER win a cup and will never hold themselves accountable EVER. and nor will the fans hold them accountable either

  2. Am I the only one who thinks McDavid and Drai have been super sloppy so far? Obviously the oilers as a whole have been, but they haven’t impressed me

  3. Mantha could score 40 goals, maybe a bit more, if his body is cooperating.
Huberdeau could score 80 pts, maybe a bit more, if his mind is cooperating.

Don't know how long this is going to last, but they sure are the most likable albertan team.

  4. That definitely seemed like a weak goalie interference call. Minimal contact, long before the goal. If that is/was going to be the standard, fine, I can accept it. But we all know there are going to be goals with far more egregious contact that are going to stand. Hell, we'll probably see one within a week. You could flip a coin on every contested goal and end up with a more consistent standard than NHL officials/war room

  5. I really can't explain it but we saw the start they had last year, and yea maybe we didn't lose the first three games last year but we did lose 6/7. The thing is, once we got going, we almost broke the record for most wins in a row then go on to have the best post season we've had since 2005. Point being once the oil get going, look out.

  6. Saw this coming from 100 miles out.
The preseason ethics need to be thrown in the trash.
Ice the full roster from game 1 of preseason and use those games to let the roster percolate.

Rather then throwing it.all together game 1 and hoping it mixes

  7. I was under the impression the goalie interference was because Perry was taking up space in the crease which interfered with Vladar's ability to come out and challenge the shot. The rule states something to the effect that a player in the crease cannot interfere with the goalie's right to his crease. Because Vladar couldn't go to the limit of the crease he was interfered with, had nothing to do with the stick stuff 5 seconds prior

  8. Early days; intriguing for Flames (btm 5 team 🙃)EDM = another CUP run 😱How on Earth are you not at 250k+? Keep up the outstanding work. Regardless of the team, your videos = perfect pairing4my morning cup of coffee. (BLACKHAWKS fan in IL)

  9. Can we talk about how the oilers have more goals called off than allowed this season 😂 bettman really doesn't want the oilers in the playoffs this year

  10. Not worried, but goddamn the reffing this game was just bad. Calgary did do well, but no way should it have been this lopsided. So many missed penalties, a called back goal that should've easily counted, etc. Not trying to sound like a Salty Leaf fan, but this was not a good officiated game for either side really

  11. Every Oiler fan who knows anything about hockey – saw this coming. Too many "fans" were lauding the moves Jackson and Bowman made. And, all I did was think, this does not bode well. The team will turn it around but I really hate these slow starts.

  12. I know its just 3 games but Tocchet thought you couldn't win with Kuzmenko on the ice. Maybe Huska found a way to use him

  13. Oh well. The beginning of the season. When the young teams get work out half way through the season bet Edmonton will be on top by All star week.

  14. Note on Gaudreau pregame on Saturday. Flames played top highlights for goals gaudreau scored in Calgary & lit up ice where he scored them during the package. First class & really powerful pregame.

  15. Justin Kirkland scored in the preseason as well. But he was not good enough to make the team that's why Rooney had the spot but Rooney got injured so Kirkland took over for now

  16. This is supposed to be the year of the tank for Calgary. This is not how you tank. This is how you screw yourselves out of a top 10 pick, let alone the 1st overall pick that this team has NEVER had.

  17. The writing and narration of these videos is great. Oilers fan here saying "well done, Flames" and Oilers will get going. Looking for a good extended Battle of Alberta

  18. All I’ve wanted to see the Flames do this year is play hard and fast. If they lose, lose because of lack of skill. Not lack of effort. So far so good. Everything will even out to where it should be eventually, for now just enjoy the ride

  19. i think if flames can keep the ethic up they could squeeze into the playoffs with some good wins. even two years ago if we hadn’t had those abysmal overtime losses we could’ve done it – and who knows once it’s the post season anything can happen- my biggest fear is that we slide into constant mediocrity – 16-19th place with no draft capital to show for the hard work, with aging stars that do less and less – either way let’s go flames 🔥🔥

  20. me. BUT, i watch a lot of hockey and have for many many years. and not MY team and who they play. almost every team every game. i said last year, if not for broberg EDM loses to dallas. not only did they not sign him, they lost desharnais and ceici. their D wasnt really good last year. i am sure they will turn it around though. not like they arent making the playoffs.
