  1. Coots ice time is not alarming…he’s slow and provides very little besides leadership to this team. It’s a shame, but he just can’t keep up with the speed of the NHL anymore. Unfortunately, they don’t have another center to fill his spot; Cates is not the answer, and Torts doesn’t want to bench Couturier. The coach dug a hole by naming him captain, he knows people will just ask him stupid questions if he benches him. TK had high ice time because they had so many power plays and kills.

  2. I like the way the Flyers played. I liked the 2nd goal. Michkov's shot was quick and perfect! I thought that both teams made mistakes which will improve as more games are played. I'd like to see more from Tippett. Go Flyers! Very entertaining game.

  3. They’re going to have to move one of their 6 best wingers to center. The only one that can do it and who I think would actually play well there is Foerster.

  4. Edmonton did everything they could to lose this game, dumb penalties being the leading cause.
Bundy pointed out how TK lacked any defensive posture when Samheim was tripped in the OT. Yelling at the referee while McDavid goes down on a breakaway only to be saved by Ersson, BUT Draisitle trailing the play with TK lagging seriously behind whining at the referee.
I love TK, but man oh man I was screaming at the TV wondering who was covering Draisaitle.
Flyers should have won that game last night.
Do NOT depend on the Refs to save your bacon and hoping for a penalty call.
Yeah it's only the 3rd game of the season, but Edmonton stole a point from the Flyers last night.
Other slight concern is 5 on 5 goals. I just hope that improves too.
I just needed to bitch, sorry Jason.

  5. Overall I think the Flyers have been good. Really good at times. I'd like to see Foerster turn it up some more, we need Seeler back to settle the defense some and a little bit steadier back up goalie but again overall, I'm happy with the start of the season thus far !

  6. Oilers fan here, just seeing what the other side is saying. You got some good content here 🥃🥃

Also you guys have a hell of a player in Tippett. Tons of ppl here in Edmonton felt like he was the most noticeable player of the night from either team. Fun guy to watch.
