Maybe getting on the road will help them focus more on their game. I expected a let down after last season. I for one was not ready for the season to start. Good thing i'm not out there.
This team was gutted by 2 traitors, Jackson and Bowman. They had everything except a #1 goalie to win the cup. Now they don't have a chance. But nobody wants to face the cold hard truth. Disaster.
Hey coach how much money do you need on that top line to coach some production. That line sucks for 35 million bucks. Thought you would have figured that out when 3 other coaches tried the same thing. Personally can't stand it.
Emotion is a huge part of hockey. The Oilers were absolutely gutted after their game 7 Stanley Cup final loss. Must have been a really difficult summer. They will bounce back.
I still believe this team does not have enough grit/toughness. Oilers are being out-hit every game. Very few hits being delivered to opposition. They cannot just match lines to score goals ONLY, but to score HITS to wear the opposition down.
