  1. Nice tip by Blake but in all honesty he is a step behind the play most of the time. I really feel he could use some AHL time. But he is going to be good. I was at the game last night. I know the fans were mad at the late call on Blake but although it wasn't a trip it was a hold. He got away with it twice already in that shift. He takes bad late penalties.
Can sombody please work with Jack Drury on shot location??!?!?!? Every point blank shot he takes is in the goalies chest!!!!! Other than his faceoff work, he was mid last night. He is like toast with no butter! I honestly think it should be Suzuki time!!! Did you see that shot he took in the Wolves game???? And it was on the PP..
The Ghost goal was all KK. That is the part of KK's game people miss. He wins those battles that leads to goals and many times he doesn't get points from his work. Last night he did. I felt KK had a really good game. You have to watch him away from the puck to appreciate his game.

  2. That PP unit one is just not clicking. The Staal line came out with 10 seconds left in the PP and had better looks.

  3. I do not like the 3 year deal with the Wolves. I feel it's too far from Raleigh first off. They don't play anywhere close for Canes fans to see them play and the Wolves owner is a complete tool! Tom needs to somehow buy them out and move them closer.

  4. Most AHL teams have the look of their NHL affiliate. It says a lot about the teams owner when he doesn't take on the Canes colors! It is important to prospect development to have control of your AHL affiliate. I hope their is a way out of that contract if an expansion becomes available. I know they Tom visited Dorton Arena and was talking to the state about renovating it to bring it up to date. They also purchased the Ice Caps name. That would be awesome and perfect for development.
